Meet our new project: FSX Traffic Generator

Recently I published on CodePlex a new project called Blue Mirror FSX Traffic Generator, which will probably evolve (or not) into something more useful. (FSX stands for Flight Simulator X by Microsoft.)

FSX Traffic Generator is a tool designed to generate more less realistic AI traffic in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It's developed in C# using Visual C# 2008 Express. FSX Traffic Generator generates DAT files (that can be easly transformed into BGL files) from RDL files.

As you know, Blue Mirror CD/DVD Indexer currently supports the following languages: Dutch, English, German, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brasil), Russian, and Turkish.

Blue Mirror CD/DVD Indexer has been added to Softpedia's database of software programs for the Windows operating system. And we have got a nice certificate (click on it to read more):

Of course, every (at least I hope that) open sourced application is free of spyware, adware etc. But please note!!!: the only 100%-sure clean version of our application is available from Microsoft's CodePlex download page and from SourceForge download page. I saw several different web sites that offer fake installers of Blue Mirror CD/DVD Indexer, so be careful. Alternatively, you can always download a source code and compile it at home (or at work if you prefer! :))

I'm happy to announce that Blue Mirror CD/DVD Indexer 1.3 Beta is released. You can download it as a msi installer from the Releases section of CodePlex. Full source code is available here, as usual.

New in 1.3: German (thanx to Clemens-Alexander Brust), Portuguese (Brasil) (thanx to Leonardo Frigo Da Purificação) and Russian (thanx to Boris Vasilenko) language version and, of course, amazing "Find in Database" command :)

About keywords in CD/DVD Indexer

When you are setting a keywords for volume, folder or file use semicolons (;) to separate every keyword, e.g. keyword1;sample keyword;keyword2. Use the same notation within the search tab. Keywords are case sensitive.

Blue Mirror CD/DVD Indexer 1.2 Beta released

Here you can download 1.2 Beta release of Blue Mirror CD/DVD Indexer. Not many improvements added really, but we changed name of our software to Blue Mirror. We like it :).
And some kind of warning: do not index large amount of files, e.g. big hard disks. Our software is meant to be CD/DVD indexer and 100 000 files are OK, but 100 000 000 files could slow the reading/writing/searching/indexing process down. For implementation details see source code of the latest version.
